Morning Jogging in Winter
So as to enrich the cultural and sports life on campus, improve students’ physical fitness, strengthen their resistance to winter diseases, cultivate students to develop favorable exercise habits and let them taste a positive and healthy life during physical training, Anqing Foreign Language School organized the winter morning jogging activities.
Since December, Anqing Foreign Language School has changed the Tuesday-to-Friday morning exercises time to winter morning running time. In order to implement the morning jogging event and tangibly guarantee students’ personal safety, under the unified leadership of the school, the Youth League Committee and each department proceeded meticulous arrangements in regard to the morning running activities, such as the route design, the formation and speed of morning jogging, matters needing attention in the morning running as well as the security guidance of  PE teachers equipped in several key posts.
In each morning running session, when the music bell rang, each class immediately took actions to arrive at the playground in orderly formation. When the music of running started, students ran up in neat steps. More remarkably, teachers joined the morning running team. The marching team looked like a long winding dragon, solemn, magnificent in a formidable array. Evidently, the morning jogging team with neat steps added a beautiful scenery to the campus.
To sum up, the morning jogging activities not only exercised students’ physical fitness, but also enhanced the class cohesion so that students could love sports more and devote themselves to learning with a full mental outlook, which showcased the humanistic spirit and civilized demeanor of Anqing Foreign Language School.
